Medical marijuana dispensaries have become a ubiquitous presence in Los Angeles due to a combination of vacant commercial real estate resulting from the economic collapse and the legalization of distribution for medical use. Underwood photographed over 250 dispensaries across Los Angeles within the span of one week in February 2010 to capture the peak moment of their proliferation. Read more HERE>>
